2019 BMW 3 Series Interior Revealed in New Spy Photos

The 2019 BMW 3 Series has been photographed ahead of its debut, revealing portions of its exterior styling as well as parts of its interior.

Immediately noticeable in these images are the partially uncovered, production -looking LED headlamps. Between the two new front lights is BMW’s double kidney grille, which appears to be completely blocked off – suggesting this prototype has active grille shutters. The rear is less revealing, but portions of the taillights can be partially seen along with dual exhaust tips. The rear bumper also has a sticker indicating this is a “hybrid test vehicle”, so we know the next 3 Series will be available as a hybrid early in its production cycle.

The interior shots show a partly covered up cabin with a familiar design and layout. A three-spoke multi-function steering wheel is present and joined by a squarish shifter similar to the one used in the new 2018 BMW 5 Series. The dashboard is of the digital variety and is shown switched on and off in the images. The central dash display is covered by some black draping, as is the center console, but the designs don’t seem overly different than the current 3 Series.

We’re expecting the new 3 Series to makes its debut sometime in 2018, which means it will probably be a 2019 model year vehicle. We’re expecting it to be unveiled sometime in the first half of 2017 before going on sale later in the year.
