Audi RS7 Mule Spied Winter Testing

Audi RS7 Mule Spied Winter Testing

Late last month we got an early look at an Audi RS7 test mule in dry conditions and now a mule with new wheels is testing in the frozen north.

With unmodified bumpers and ersatz wheel arches like the previous mule, the car seen here clearly isn’t ready for production. It does at least hint at a couple of the advantages the Audi Sport hot rod will have over its A7 counterpart, though.

With a wider track width and brakes that look like they’re big enough to rend the car’s wheels apart, this has the distinct appearance of a serious performer. We can also see what appear to be carbon ceramic discs.

Rumor has it that the RS7 will churn out a minimum of 650 horsepower from a twin-turbo V8, and as much as 700 hp by using the Porsche Panamera Hybrid’s drivetrain.

It’s going to be a while before we know for sure, though, as we don’t expect to see the RS7 debut for nearly a year.
