Lotus Evora GT410 Sport Arrives as New Mid Range Model

Lotus has debuted a new Evora that will serve as the new mid-range trim level in the Evora range.

The Evora GT410 Sport is meant to bridge the gap between the entry-level Evora 400 and the track-focused Evora GT430. It features a subtler aero kit than the GT430, which produces a maximum of 211 lbs of downforce at speed. Other exterior changes apart from the aero kit include a louvered tailgate, a carbon front access panel and forged wheels measuring 19-inches in the front and 20-inches in the rear.

Under the hood is the same supercharged 3.5-liter Toyota-sourced V6 found in other Evora models. It’s making 410 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque in the GT410 Sport, as you may have guessed. The six-speed automatic-equipped version will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, while the manual will take 4.0 seconds to reach highway speed. An option titanium exhaust system is available, letting the engine breath a bit better and trimming 22 lbs of weight from the car.

On the suspension side of things are Eibach sideload springs and Bilstein sports dampers as standard. A touring suspension package is offered, which softens the setup a bit with different non-adjustable Bilstein dampers. A race-suspension package is also available with Lotus-tuned lightweight Öhlins TTX aluminum two-way adjustable dampers, which also save another 30 lbs of mass.

“We are continually exploring new ideas, innovating and evolving our cars in pursuit of perfection. The new Evora GT410 Sport takes the lessons learnt from the development of the GT430 to deliver something outstanding and highly capable.”
