The Aston Martin Valkyrie's Cabin Will Be The Epitome Of Hardcore

Grainy footage purporting to show the interior of the new Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar has leaked online.

The video reveals the Valkyrie will have a compact cabin with a trio of digital displays and a racing-inspired steering wheel. The displays should relay real-time information to the driver such as ground speed and RPM and may also provide in-depth feedback in regards to brake and tire temperatures, chassis and engine settings and more. Similar to the LaFerrari, Ford GT and other carbon tub-based supercars, the Valkyrie will also feature seats moulded to the buyer’s body and placed extremely close to one another.

This footage surfaced just days after Aston Martin released new preview images of the Valkyrie and claimed they show the car in 90% production ready form. The automaker says the remaining styling changes will be related to aerodynamic tweaks and adjustments required to ensure the car is eligible for road use.

When the production version arrives, the Valkyrie will be powered by a 900 horsepower, naturally aspirated 6.5-liter Cosworth V12 engine paired to a Ricardo seven-speed transmission. It will also feature aerodynamic work penned by Red Bull Racing’s chief technical officer Adrian Newey that will heavily contribute to its on-track performance. Production will be limited to just 175 units (25 of which will be for track use only) and each should sell for around $3 million USD.
