The New Top Gear America Series Might be Pretty Good

BBC America has released the first trailer for the new Top Gear America TV series and by the looks of it, the show may actually be pretty good.

You might already be familiar with the old Top Gear America series hosted by Rutledge Wood, Tanner Foust, and Adam Ferrara, which was cut after six seasons on the History Channel. While not a bad program by any means, Top Gear America received flak for not being up to par with its British counterpart.

This new series may just satisfy American TV consumer’s taste for automotive-themed programming. It will be hosted by actor William Fichtner of  and , champion drag racer Antron Brown and British automotive journalist Tom Ford, who display a good sense of humor and decent chemistry in the trailer.
