Tupac Shakur's Hummer is Crossing the Auction Block Again

Tupac Shakur's Hummer is Crossing the Auction Block Again

The winning bidder from last year’s auction defaulted on payment.

The 1996 Hummer H1 fetched $337,144 last year when it crossed the auction block, but RR Auction has been unable to collect payment. So the Hummer is being re-listed and this time, the auction house expects it to sell for around $100,000.

The fully-loaded Hummer H1 was customized by the late rapper and is powered by a 6.5-liter turbocharged diesel V8 engine paired to an automatic transmission. The odometer reads 10,101 miles, which is low considering the vehicle is over 20-years old.

The hardtop body features Dick Cepek off-road lights, a 360-degree spotlight, a grille guard, diamond-plate bumpers, GC package oversized off-road wheels and tires, and an external PA system with three sirens. The interior has been trimmed in burl wood with beige leather upholstery and features a 12-disc Clarion sound system, Sony GPS, a central tire inflation system, air conditioning, rear sliding glass window, privacy glass, and full power options. There’s also a 12,000-pound winch.

Included with the vehicle is the license plate with “YAKNPAK,” which honors Shakur and late rapper Yaki “Prince” Kadafi. There are also promotional cassettes for Michael Jackson’s  and 2Pac’s .

The auction will begin on August 10 and will conclude on August 17.
