2019 Audi Q8 Spied Fully Exposed

2019 Audi Q8 Spied Fully Exposed

The 2019 Audi Q8 has been spied fully exposed, providing the best look yet at the German automaker’s upcoming flagship crossover.

As the “coupe” version of the Q7, the Q8 has a more aggressive design and shades of the Lamborghini Urus from some angles, which makes sense since they share platforms. The large crossover will compete with the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe and from the spy photos, we can already see that it’s much better looking than both of those awkwardly styled coupe SUVs.

Under the hood, we can expect the same engines powering the Q7, which means a base 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder or an optional supercharged V6 (a high-performance SQ8 is in the works, too). All-wheel-drive will, of course, come standard and the Q8 will get an eight-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel steering, an optional air suspension, adaptive dampers, and all the tech that can be expected from a flagship Audi. The German automaker is also promising comfortable seating for four, even with the new sloping roofline.

A hybrid e-tron model is also expected in the near future.

Expect the 2019 Audi Q8 to debut soon and go on sale in the third quarter this year.
