AutoGuide Now For the Week of March 3

This week on AutoGuide Now, we’re driving some high-class GM crossovers, blasting off in a 550-hp Mercedes and covering all the latest reveals over in Geneva. See what we’re up to and chime in on Twitter or in the comments section below.

Here’s what we’re up to right now:

AutoGuide Now For the Week of March 32014 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Road Test Editor Mike Schlee: “This week I’m behind the wheel of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG. Now featuring 4Matic all-wheel drive, the car is said to be capable of launching from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds thanks to a 5.5-liter V8 making 550 hp. I should be able to test the car’s all weather capability this week as temperatures remain cold and more snow is on the way.”

With snowy weather on the way, will the 550-hp AMG powered CLS be a handful, or will the all-wheel drive system allow Mike to have fun and stay safe? Keep up with Mike’s updates, or if you have something you’d like to ask him, you can reach him easily on Twitter.

AutoGuide Now For the Week of March 32014 Buick Encore

“Our next installment of ‘Second Opinion’ will see my wife behind the wheel of the 2014 Buick Encore. Having just completed its first year on the market, the sub-compact luxury crossover has sold well and been fairly well received by customers. What will our everyday consumer think of the vehicle?”

AutoGuide Now For the Week of March 32014 GMC Acadia Denali

News Editor Stephen Elmer: “Having just sampled the latest Denali models in the 2015 Yukon, I’m curious to see how one of the oldest in the fleet holds up. Will the Acadia feel nearly as refined, or will its age show through?” Be sure to tweet at Steve to learn more about the GMC Acadia Denali.

2014 Geneva Motor Show

Managing Editor Luke Vandezande: “I’m spending this week covering the Geneva Motor Show. It’s always a special stop on the auto show circuit because this is typically where the newest supercars show up. This year is no different with new products from household names like Ferrari and Lamborghini as well as obscurities like Koenigsegg and Arash.”  Follow Luke ‘s updates on Twitter to see the whole show from his perspective, or tweet him to find out more.
