In the US, the X2 xDrive28i will start at $39,395 in the US, with the sDrive model set to undercut it by $2,000. The entry-level crossover is expected to attract new and younger customers to the BMW brand, and accordingly, BMW has focused the X2’s marketing strategy to social media.

The X1 and X2 will be the only FWD-based BMW vehicles offered in the U.S. Not to worry, BMW fans – we won’t be getting the rather funny-looking 2 Series Active Tourer.
