The problem: The front driveshafts on some of these vehicles have been found to have workmanship and material-related defects.

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the front driveshaft.

Warranty info: BMW is extending the warranty on the front driveshaft to 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first.
