The problem: Engine idle speed may fluctuate when the transmission is in Park or Neutral. This is due to a software glitch in the transmission control module.

Corrective action: Dealers will reprogram the transmission control module.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Toyota Federal Emissions Warranty, which is in effect for eight years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first.
