2018 BMW X2 Gets a $40,000 Price Tag in the US

The 2018 BMW X2 has been priced from $39,395 in the United States including $995 in destination.

That price is for the entry-level xDrive 28i model, which will come with a 228 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It will come standard with equipment such as 18-inch alloy wheels, SensaTec vinyl seats and a 7-speaker audio system.

A number of packages are available for the X2 that will add to its price tag. The $600 Driver Assistance Package adds lane departure warning, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, low-speed emergency braking and other active safety systems. There’s also $2,350 Convenience Package that brings power-folding mirrors, a panoramic roof, auto-dimming mirrors and lumbar support for the front seats, along with a $2,600 Premium Package and a $600 Dynamic Handling package.

Buyers looking for a sportier package, or those who can’t wait for a potential X2M, may option the $4,650 M SportX Package. Like other M Sport trim packages, this will bring M-inspired touches to the vehicle from interior and exterior M badges, M wheels, unique front and rear fascias, M-tuned suspension and an M steering wheel.

The BMW X2 will arrive at dealers shortly.
