2018 Subaru Impreza Gets a Minor $100 Price Increase

The 2018 Subaru Impreza will start from $19,355 including destination.

The Subaru Impreza gets some minor changes for the 2018 model year, after introducing an all-new model for 2017. New automatic headlight activation, when windshield wipers are turned on, is now standard on Premium, Sport, and Limited trims. The Limited trim also receives more upscale LED headlights with distinctive “Konoji” LED daytime running lights and standard 17-inch alloy wheels.

The five-door Impreza costs $500 more across all trim levels, starting from $19,855 with a five-speed manual transmission as standard. Opting for a continuously variable transmission (CVT) on either the sedan or five-door will cost $1,000 additional on the base model.

The 2.0i Premium is only available with a CVT and starts from $22,155 for the sedan or $22,655 for the five-door version. The Premium trim adds Subaru Starlink Safety and Security features, 16-inch wheels, the All-Weather Package featuring heated front seats, windshield, and exterior mirrors. The five-door Impreza Premium feature standard roof rails. Choosing the Premium model also adds new available options including a power moonroof and driver assist technology systems.

The 2018 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport starts from $22,955 for the sedan or $23,455 for the five-door model. Opting for a CVT on the Sport trim costs $800 additional. The Sport model delivers a more fun-to-drive experience thanks to exclusive suspension tuning, 18-inch wheels, standard STI short throw shifter on the manual models, and Active Torque Vectoring. Differentiating the Sport from the other models are standard daytime running lights, black-finish front grille, body-color rocker panels, and turn signal side mirrors. On the five-door model, there’s gloss black rear gate trim, while the sedan gets a rear trunk spoiler.

At the top of the range is the 2018 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited, starting from $25,055 for the sedan and $25,555 for the five-door version. The Limited trim is available exclusively with a CVT, with the interior featuring double stitching on the door armrests and instrument panel, and a six-way power driver’s seat. Standard features on the Limited model include automatic climate control system, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, Keyless Access with push-button start, and an eight-inch color display.

All 2018 Subaru Impreza models are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine with 152 hp and 145 pound-feet of torque. It will head to dealers in the U.S. starting this fall.
