2018 Volvo XC60 and Lincoln Navigator Named North American Utility Vehicle and Truck of the Year

The 2018 Volvo XC60 and Lincoln Navigator were named as the North American Utility Vehicle and Truck of the Year.

“Both the Volvo XC60 and Lincoln Navigator are excellent and really move things forward for their brands and their segments as a whole,” said jury member and  editor-in-chief Jodi Lai. “Both Volvo and Lincoln deserve this award.”

The Volvo XC60 impressed the jury with its swanky interior, high-tech powertrain, and buttoned-down driving dynamics. The Lincoln Navigator is beautiful both inside and out and is packed with impressive technology and sumptuous luxury.

s editor-in-chief Jodi Lai is pleased to be one of 60 jury members this year who voted in the 2018 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year proceedings. Jurors voted based on overall excellence, innovation, design, value, significance, performance, technology, and safety. 

The awards were established in 1994 and this year’s awards are sponsored by Bridgestone Americas.
