Not even rich people are safe from the reality of the automotive recall, with Aston Martin announcing a callback on its recently launched DB11 this week.
The reason for the recall is related to the DB11’s tire pressure monitoring system. According to the automaker, the system may be incorrectly calibrated on some cars and fail to warn the driver when the tires are underinflated. If the tire pressures are too low it may result in a tire failure, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
Aston Martin dealers will recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system for customers free of charge. Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Aston Martin with instructions on how to proceed. The automaker says it will reach out to owners in regards to the matter this month.

Unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the DB11 only entered production in September of last year. The 5.2-liter V12 equipped model affected by the recall was recently joined by a 4.0-liter twin turbocharged AMG V8-powered with 500 horsepower on tap.
