One report says the Aston Martin DBX could be offered with up to five different powertrain options.
, citing , reports the Aston Martin DBX could launch with standard gasoline engines before the hybrid and electric variants follow. Possible engines for the DBX include an AMG-sourced 4.0-liter biturbo V8 with as much as 503 horsepower and 513 pound-feet of torque, or an optional 5.2-liter biturbo V12 with as much as 600 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It’s a bit different than the DBX Concept the British automaker showed off with an electric powertrain.

The publication also reports the DBX will do away with traditional side mirrors for cameras.
The Aston Martin DBX will be the company’s first entry in the utility segment, as more and more automakers look to compete in the crossover and SUV segments. Work has already begun on a new factory where the DBX will be produced.
