The BMW M3 CS will be with us shortly. Maybe.
New reports allege the hottest M3 to date will make its debut at some point this month, which could point towards a revel at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show at the end of November. The information comes courtesy of anonymous source on friendly terms with .
The CS is widely expected to be the most powerful production BMW M3 to march out of Germany. As for content, there shouldn’t be many surprises as it’s widely expected to ape the M4 CS. Goodies should include a front splitter, hood, roof, diffuser, and decklid spoiler made from BMW’s proprietary CFRP, along with the same wheels shoes fitted to the coupe.

BMW should also offer revised ride and handling, with stiffer springs and dampers, larger roll bars, and optional carbon ceramic brakes. At the heart of the matter should be the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six that powers the M4 CS, where it’s good for 454 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque.
Like the M4 production will likely be limited, with exact numbers expected closer to market launch. As for pricing, don’t expect anything south of $100,000.
