Infiniti Teases a Frosty White new Concept Car

Infiniti has released a teaser image of a new concept vehicle it will present at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month.

The teaser image shows the front of the futuristic-looking concept, revealing its narrow headlamps, closed off grille, lower black side intakes and vented hood. The concept is painted matte white and appears to also feature white elements in the headlamps and a white grille.

This concept will preview Infiniti’s future design language, with the automaker saying it “represents the first manifestation of a new Infiniti form language.” It was designed by Infiniti executive design director Karim Habib, who said the car will “take the traditional saloon architecture to its next stage of evolution,” and will feature “smarter, more compact and less intrusive powertrains.” It will also feature a “long cabin, balanced proportions and muscular stance,” Habib said.

It sounds as though the concept will be a mid- or full-size sedan with a hybrid or electric powertrain and sporty stance. It should give us an idea of what to expect from Infiniti as a whole going forward, and particularly what to expect from its sedans

We’ll learn more about this new mystery concept following its debut in Detroit in mid-January.
