Believe it or not, there are more than 70 cars on sale with at least 500 hp but most of them cost over $100,000. And while none of these cars are really “cheap,” there’s obviously a price to pay when you want to play with 500 hp. Here are the 10 cheapest cars with 500 hp.

10. Dodge Viper
If you have your eyes set on a Dodge Viper, you better act quickly. The American automaker has discontinued the great American sports car but you can still get your hands on one if you’re lucky. Pricing in the U.S. starts from $92,990 including destination and that gets you an 8.4-liter V10 engine with 645 hp and 600 pound-feet of torque.
9. Cadillac CTS-V
Prefer a luxury sedan that will surprise sports cars and even some exotics? The Cadillac CTS-V packs a serious punch with 640 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque from a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and its price of entry is $87,290.
8. Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged
Who says crossovers and SUVs have to be boring? Land Rover offers the Range Rover Sport Supercharged for those that want to haul families in style. Under the hood lurks a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque, accompanied by an $81,645 price tag. If that isn’t enough for you, there’s the Range Rover Sport SVR with 550 hp, but that will cost you well over $100,000.
7. Chevrolet Corvette Z06
For decades, the Chevrolet Corvette has been one of the most iconic American sports cars, so it should come as little surprise one of its models lands on the list. Sporting 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, the Corvette Z06 starts from $80,490.
6. Mercedes-AMG C63 S Sedan
If the Cadillac CTS-V is too expensive for your tastes, you can get behind the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG C63 S sedan for $74,695. The German automaker’s 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine provides 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque with all the comforts and luxury you’d expect from a Mercedes.
5. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
The newest challenger in the 500-hp luxury sedan segment is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Its unique styling has won over enthusiasts, and you can’t help but fall in love with the Ferrari-sourced 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with 505 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. It’s priced competitively too, starting from $73,595.
4. Dodge Charger Hellcat
Hellcat this, Hellcat that. If you’re looking for serious performance on a “budget” with four doors, nothing comes close to the Dodge Charger Hellcat. It’s also the most powerful sedan on the list with the 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 churning out 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Hop behind the wheel of one for $67,040.
3. Dodge Challenger Hellcat
But if the Charger’s four-door sedan body style doesn’t appeal to you, there is, of course, the Challenger Hellcat with the same powerplant and power output. Shedding two doors makes it cheaper, too, with the Challenger Hellcat starting from $63,590. Of course, we wouldn’t be in our right minds if we didn’t mention the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon as well, which starts from $86,090.

Where there’s a Challenger, there’s likely a Camaro. The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 delivers 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque from a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, just like the Corvette Z06. The best part? It costs $62,135.

But when it comes to value and getting behind the wheel of a car with at least 500 hp, nothing beats the Ford Shelby GT350. It might be underpowered compared to the Camaro and Challenger with 526 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque, but it also has an entry price of $57,045. It’s also the ideal choice if you’re into naturally-aspirated engines, since the flat-crank 5.2-liter V8 has no forced induction.
