Updated Subaru Legacy and Outback Priced in the US

Subaru has announced U.S. pricing for the updated 2018 Legacy sedan and Outback crossover.

Subaru applied a host of exterior changes to the Legacy for the 2018 model year including new front and rear fascias, a different grille and new side mirrors. It also revised the interior with a new available Titanium Gray upholstery color and an updated version of its Starlink infotainment system, while acoustic side glass for the front doors and additional rear insulation help make things a bit more serene.

The new Legacy will start from $23,055 when it arrives at Subaru dealers this summer. That price is for the entry-level Legacy 2.5i with the 175 horsepower 2.5-liter engine and CVT automatic. Moving up to the 2.5i Premium model will raise the price to $25,155, while the Legacy 2.5i Sport model will cost $27,205. The Legacy Limited, which adds high-end content such as a power moonroof, keyless entry with push-button start and front and rear heated seats, costs $29,955 and the range-topping Legacy 3.6R Limited with the 256 horsepower 3.6-liter Boxer engine will cost $32,805.

The 3.6-liter V6 engine can be had with either the Limited or the more luxurious Touring models, with pricing for the V6 Limited starting at $36,310 and $39,605 for the V6 Touring.
