Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) accidentally gave a preview of the upcoming Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV.
The automaker posted a video on its YouTube channel that had footage of a crossover boasting Alfa Romeo’s signature front end at the Fiat Cassino plant in Italy, where the Alfa Romeo Giulia is produced. The company didn’t waste much time in making the video private, but like everything else that surfaces on the internet, screenshots were taken and shared.
Although spy photographers have caught the Alfa Romeo Stelvio testing numerous times in the past months, this is our best look yet at the overall body and the front end undisguised.

Expected to make its debut at the 2016 L.A. Auto Show, Alfa Romeo’s SUV will take aim at the Porsche Macan and Jaguar F-Pace with hopes of boosting sales for the Italian automaker in the U.S. The model will likely share its powerplants with the Giulia sedan, which means a high-performance version with the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 could also be coming in the form of an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio model. In the Giulia, that powerplant offers 505 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque and helps push the car to a Nurburgring lap record.
