Aston Martin Vanquish S Signs Off With Ultimate Edition Model

The Aston Martin Vanquish will soon be replaced with an all-new model, but the current model will first sign off with a short production run of 175 ‘Ultimate Edition’ models.

The Vanquish S Ultimate, which will be limited to just 175 cars worldwide, will be available in three different “Designer Themes,” that have been carefully crafted and curated by the Aston Martin design team. All versions of the car will also feature trim exclusive to the Vanquish S Ultimate, including carbon fiber side strakes, rose gold ‘Ultimate’ decals, carbon fiber treadplates, an ‘Ultimate’ sill plaque, special interior stitching and ‘Ultimate’ embroidered headrests.

The first of the three available Designer Themes is described as “monochrome,” featuring Ultimate Black exterior paint with Copper Bronze outlining the front air intake, side sills and rear diffuser. There’s also black exhaust tips and a variety of black exterior trim, along with an Obsidian Black leather interior with Chestnut Tan accents and a carbon fiber dash.

The second Designer Theme is inspired by technical sportswear and as such features Xenon Grey paint, Cobalt Blue graphics, yellow brake calipers, gloss black alloy wheels and Phantom Grey leather upholstery with Electron Yellow accents and Spectral Blue stitching. The third theme blends White Gold paint with Bronze graphics and gloss black trim, along with a Chestnut Tan leather with Obsidian Black accents. Like the other two, there’s also carbon fiber just about everywhere you look.

The Vanquish S Ultimate is otherwise mechanically identical to the standard Vanquish. The 595 horsepower 6.0-liter V12 remains unchanged, as does the eight-speed Touchtronic automatic transmission.

The order books for the Vanquish S Ultimate are open now, with deliveries expected to commence in the first-quarter of 2018. Pricing starts at €278,995 euros (about $324,000 USD) for the Vanquish S Ultimate Edition Coupe, and €293,995 euros (about $341,000) for the Volante.
