Starring Clive Owen and Dakota Fanning, the BMW short film is written and directed by Neill Blomkamp, who is known for the movie . Marvel fans will also recognize Jon Bernthal in the trailer, who recently played The Punisher on Netflix’s .
BMW Films was originally launched in 2001 with a series of eight branded short films called “The Hire,” which also featured Owen as “The Driver.” Now, the series makes a return with Blomkamp at the helm.

“I just think it was a brilliant idea originally,” said Owen in a behind-the-scenes video. “They’re serious pieces of work. They’re short films, but they’re serious filmmakers doing what they do best.”
