Ring in the New Year With a 1991 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

RM Sotheby’s will auction off a gorgeous white-on-red 1991 Lamborghini¬†Countach 25th Anniversary at its Paris auction on February 7th – serving as the perfect way to kick off 2018 for some lucky car collector.

This Countach shows just 3,465 km on the odometer and has been well kept its entire life, despite the seasonal photos showing it parked on some sort of snowy trail or backroad. It’s a particularly desirable 25th Anniversary example, which featured styling changes penned by none other than Horacio Pagani. Horacio tweaked the nose to provide better brake cooling and also modified the rear air intakes for improved engine cooling. A new steering wheel, different two-piece forged alloy wheels and a better air conditioning system were also added for the anniversary edition model.

This car was delivered new to an owner in Sweden in 1991 before it was sold to its second owner, a German, in 2014. It had traveled 3,463 km from new at that point, and has only traveled another two kilometers since – spending the last three years in storage. The second owner kept the car for a short period of time before selling it to its current owner, who is located in Lithuania. RM Sotheby’s says it’s one of the lowest mileage Countach 25th Anniversary examples to come to market, and predicts it will sell for between 250,000 euro (about $296,000 – $355,000).
